On November 30, many of us gathered in Timonium to have lunch and decorate a GREAT looking Christmas tree to benefit The Kennedy Krieger Institute. This is the largest Christmas tree event on the east coast and we were proud to have the opportunity to participate!
The theme this year was Pixar films as you can see from the attached picture it turned out great!
As always to accomplish such great things takes a team of people to make it happen. This year the team was lead by Becky who went above and beyond to make this a great event. Becky and her daughter spent countless hours hand making Pixar ornaments while Becky’s husband was in the garage painting the Pixar light (their logo) so we could place it at the top of the tree!! Thanks Becky for leading the charge and doing such an awesome job!!
While we were cleaning up several people that came by were very impressed with our tree. Kennedy Krieger auctions off all the tress at the event. I think the tree we did last year went for about $125. Hopefully this year’s goes for more as all money raised goes to help the children of Kennedy Krieger.
Our tree won 2nd place from the Kennedy Krieger judges. Great job everyone that came out to decorate!
